Same shape. Softer feel. How I found the Dream Sleep sweet spot
The shape was never the tricky part. Getting the feel right took months.
I wanted Dream Sleep to feel softer than the standard foam sample, but still hold its contour under the weight of your head. Finding that balance took months of testing and sampling.

Finding the feel took months
I went back and forth with our supplier, trying foam samples and paying attention to how each one felt. Some were too soft. They felt comfortable at first, but didn’t hold their contour the way I wanted once I rested my head on them. other samples felt much too firm. Neither was right for the pillow I wanted to create.
So I kept testing. I’d try a sample, give friends samples take note of what felt better and what friends liked or didnt like then go back with more feedback. Too firm too soft better, but not quite there.
Soft enough to settle into, supportive enough to hold its shape
After months of samples and conversations, I found the balance I was looking for: a softer feel that still holds the pillow’s contour under the weight of your head. That became the Dream Sleep feel.
I didn’t want a pillow that felt like sleeping on a rock, or one that softened so much it lost the shape designed to support your head and neck so finding that sweet spot took time, but it was important to me to get it right.
Why the shape may look familiar
If you’ve seen the Neck’s Best Thing pillow, you may recognise the contoured shape. Dream Sleep and Neck’s Best Thing come from the same supplier, which holds the patent for the design. I worked with the supplier to customise Dream Sleep to our specifications, including a softer feel.
So the shape may look familiar, but Dream Sleep has its own feel: same shape, softer feel.
Try the Dream Sleep feel at home
Comfort is personal, and the best way to know how a pillow feels is to try it for yourself. Dream Sleep comes with a 30-night comfort promise, so you can try it at home and see how it feels for you.
